How the Dog came to live with the human beings

I really love the Khasi stories. Bro. Biwan was narrating to us about a story "how the dog came to live with the human beings." It seems that there a was a time when all living beings lived together. All the living beings used to sell their products to the great Iew (market) Luri Luni. It so happened that a dog made Tungrymbai (tungrymbai is delicious item which is made out of soyabean. It tastes good when it is really rot and it's smell is repellent). To continue the story - the dog wanted to sell tungrymbai in the market. Since the product of the dog was so obnoxious the other living beings in the market thought that the dog is selling its own dung... others bashed him up for doing so... and they spilt the tungrymbai all over..

The dog felt so bad and went to a human being. The human being said not to worry about that and from then on the dog came to live together with the human beings in their homes.....

The dog is so alert because it gets the smell of the tungrymbai that was spilt in the market by others......It's sense of smell is great.... How good is this story.....
